    Introduction: 1947年國立政治大學於南京正式成立，本系隸屬政經學院。1954年政大在臺復校，本系於1963年（民國52年）在臺復系，隸屬於法學院。因國內土地研究人才之急需，乃於1968年（57學年度），與中國地政研究所合作成立地政研究所，招考碩士班研究生，並於1981年增設博士班。
    The Department of Land Economics (DLE) has a glorious history which traces back to as early as 1932; originally, DLE offered only the bachelor degree and served as a pioneer in the land economics in the country. Decades later, in order to train for more advanced professionals and potential researchers, among others, DLE advanced with the establishment of the master's program in 1968 and the doctoral program 1981.
