    Abstract: 台灣製造業藉著充沛勞動力及低成本,在60~70年代獲得蓬勃的發展,但從80年代開始多數企業感受到強烈的成本上漲及缺工、環保等壓力,開始選擇到成本較低的國家設廠或整廠外移,重新到異地去複製台灣的成功經驗。但是近年來,這些外移的企業在當地又開始遭遇到上述相同問題。本研究以勞力密集的汽機車零件業為個案研究對象,試圖提供這些外移企業一種提高企業附加價值及強化差異化競爭的轉型對策。

    本研究從製造業服務化的策略切入,闡述現階段製造業服務化的背景動因及文獻上的研究成果,歸納出製造業服務化的五種模式,並針對每種模式舉出數家國外的典範企業,及針對台灣兩家上市企業,描述其製造服務化的具體內容。

    本研究分析產業價值鏈及微笑曲線裡各活動的價值含量,及隨時間演變,各活動的價值變化。傳統價值鏈理論中關於價值活動和競爭優勢來源及組成的闡述是OEM企業(生產性製造)存在的理論基礎,個案公司就是屬於OEM企業,而OEM企業在產業價值鏈上的地位(低附加價值和利潤)也是導致其轉型升級的根本原因。

    最後基於個案分析及競爭同業比較,並深入產業價值鏈的各項活動解析,及探究個案公司關於客戶期待的訪談記錄,最後構建出五項製造服務化的方向,這些方向也可以提供給其他類型製造業作轉型參考。
