    摘要: 泰國丹塞縣（Dansai District）位於泰、寮邊境，當地居民以泰佬人（Tai-Lao）為主，每年雨季時，丹塞會舉行最大的做「賧」（Boonluang）儀式，祈求來年平安與厄運遠離；儀式中包含了戴鬼面的Phi Ta Khon活動，後來便將具歡樂氣氛的Phi Ta Khon 活動訂為節慶主題，稱為「鬼面節」。本文以民族誌書寫的方式，紀錄並分析丹塞地區鬼面節的儀式，同時以基模（schema）為論述架構，從宗教、國族意識、觀光經濟與地方教育等觀察面向，說明丹塞地區的文化情境和建構鬼面節之間的關連性。
