In these years, we may discover Earth`s climate structure is changing from many sorts. Climate change not only affects natural biology, but also affects people’s life. Climatic change causes the sea level rise year by year, submerges densely population region. Cities consume over two-thirds of the world’s energy and account for more than 70 % of global CO2 emissions, and furthermore cities have the actual authority to reduce greenhouse gas emission. New York city announced PLANYC in 2007, this is the first carbon reduce plan designed by city government in America. PLANYC includes many departments, not only land use, traffic, but also water resources, air pollution, and climate change. PLANYC is a good example that our city governments can act like it to reduce global warming. |
