    Abstract: В статье представлены предпосылки и основные положения разработанного автором тезаурусно ориентированного метода, который, с одной стороны, нацелен на объект обучения – русский язык, а с другой – на обучающихся. Обе направленности гармонизируются в процессе формирования учащихся как языковых личностей, которые овладевают языковой системой и через нее с языковой картиной мира (тезаурусом), заключенной в языке. Приобретаемая при этом языковая способность структурируется следующими компетенциями – языковой, речевой, тезаурусной и коммуникативной – и позволяет ее носителю общаться в различных сферах общения с учетом важных для взаимопонимания специфических для русского языка культурных коннотаций.
    The report presents basic principles of a thesaurus-oriented method developed by the author who addresses both the subject being taught, the Russian language, as well as the students themselves. Both elements are engaged in the process of establishing students as language individuals who learn the language system and through the latter – the linguistic picture of the world (thesaurus) contained in the language. The linguistic capacity acquired in the process is structured via the following competencies: linguistic, verbal, thesaurus and communicative. They allow the speaker to communicate in various contexts and acknowledging important for mutual understanding cultural connotations specific to the Russian language.
