    题名: 方言族羣認同與收看方言節目之關聯性研究-以閩南語語族為例

    社會中原本就有文化殊異的族群團體,而傳播媒介這項資源常是受控於強勢力量。在各文化傳承`的過程中,大眾媒介賦予主導文化「合法」的地位,而其他弱勢族群文化偏逸出文化主流,族群成員力不足以動用傳播資源,缺乏傳播管道,對於必須透過語言傳遞的文化而言,結果往往是漸趨溼滅,而對族群中成員而言,他們對族群的認同也逐漸模糊。族群成員需要自大眾媒介中持續而規律地感知其文化、合法化(legitimize) 他們的文化、加強族群認同。
    我國於六十四年通過「廣播電視法J 其中第二十條規定r 電台對國內廣播播音語言應以國語為主,方言應逐年減少;其所占比率,由新聞局視實際需要定之」自此三家電視台即謹守廣電法規定,方言(閩南語)節目總量從未超過總播出時間的百分之十二。民國七十七年起,報章雜誌上出現了方言族群的投書,紛紛呼籲「電視節目增闢方言時段」、「實施雙語教育」等,一時電視節目中方言節目比率成了爭論的議題。本研究旨在分析方言節目收研行為,以閩南語言吾族為例,探討
    族群認同與族群媒介使用的關聯,研究問題如下
    (一)方言節目觀眾是誰?有那些特質?
    (二)族群認同和方言節目收看之間關聯性如何?
    (三)方言使用,是認同方言族群的指標,和方言節
    目收看之間關聯性如何?
    本研究以本省籍成年人為母體,全省抽樣,進行訪談。根據研究結果,本研究有以下的發現:
    一、在方言族群人口變項與方言節目收看頻率的關係上,人口變項的不同造成收看頻率的差異,觀眾主要的特徵是女性、職業專業程度低、年齡偏高、教育程度偏低、收入低。
    二、在方言族群認同度與方言節目收看頻率的關係上除了認同度中「自我標示所屬族群」的指標沒能在收看頻率上形成差異外,信念層面上,族群認同度高的人,收看方言節目頻率較高;行為層面上,從使用方言的程度看來,愈常使用方言、
    認同度愈高的人,收看方言節目頻率也較高。
    三、一般說來,方言節目收看頻率不高,與節目質量有關,當前語言政策及廣電政策待檢討。
