    題名: 神經激胺在記憶上所扮演的角色

    過去研究發現median raphe 與dorsal raphe在解剖分化與功能反應上諸多不同,而5-hydroxytryptamine在記憶上扮演抑制或促進的角色,研究結果則不一致。本研究主要目的是以passive avoidance task為模式,探討5-hydroxytryptamine在記憶鞏固上所扮演的角色及mesolimbic serotonergic pathway 與mesostriatal serotonergic pathway在記憶上是否有分化現象。
    本研究採實驗法。實驗動物為雄性Sprague-Dawley種的大白鼠102隻。實驗分三部份進行,第一部份:側腦室;第二部份:海馬迴;第三部份:紋狀體,動物被隨機分派至控制組(注射ascorbic acid) 和實驗組(注射5,7-dihydroxytryptamine) 然後,測量控制組和實驗組在記憶上的表現及腦中5-hydroxytryptamine 與norepinephrine的差異。
    實驗結果採單因子變異數分析及曼─惠特尼U考驗。結果顯示:(l)記憶測量方面:在前腦和海馬迴實驗組與控制組沒達到顯著差異,而在紋狀體實驗組的表現明顯的高於控制組(2)化學分析方面:在前腦、海馬迴和紋狀體,實驗組的5-hydroxytryptamine明顯的低於控制組而兩組在norepinephrine上的差異均未達到顯著水準。其原因可能是5-hydroxytryptamine破壞程度不同,或則是5-hydroxytryptamine在腦中不同區域扮演不同的角色所致。
