    Abstract:   物流成本實是產品價格的一部份,根據美國學術界的研究指出,1982年全美國的物流費用,佔其當年GNP的21%,也就是創造100元所得,即有21元是折耗在物流活動上。此外,從世界零售業態的變化趨勢:複雜而多樣化,銷售點密集而龐大,物流量也隨之激增。傳統廠商/產地直接運送或地區經銷商區域配送的方式,已無法滿足市場多樣化的需求。在物流配送方面,需一專業之機構進行整合商流、物流及資訊流,提供多樣少量的配送服務、縮短流通通路以降低商品成本與提高流通的效率。物流系統逐漸發展為一專業領域,物流公司乃因應而生。
