The medical parts of Otani Documents possibly belong to a medical book or several ones, and so should be studied as a whole From their writing and annotation,it can be concluded that these segments are translations of foreign collections of prescripts The translator and his assistants changed them into Chinese medical prescription form This helps to further understand the spreading of foreign medicine in Western Regions, especially in Turfan
