    Abstract: 新世紀的臺灣學校建築、學校設備標準的研訂,使教育設施在穩定中逐步發展,綿密的興建流程,逐漸專業化,因應時代的趨勢與發展,學校建築的新觀念轉化為政府推動的發展策略,引領臺灣學校建築邁向優質校園,開創學校建築的新紀元,展現新校園、新環境和新風格。學校建築、規劃與發展策略會受社會環境脈絡的影響,跨入二十一世紀的第11年,社會環境有許多值得注意的新脈絡,如少子化的影響、高齡化的社會、多文化的教育、系統化的流程、生態化的環境、科技化的發展和優質化的投資等。為臺灣學校建築的永續發展,未來10年有三項學校建築與規劃的新策略,值得探討,包括:整體更新各級學校設備標準、提升學校建築整體規劃效能,以及因勢推展優質校園環境政策。
    Nowadays with abundance of related researches and formulating standard for school buildings and equipment, educational facilities develop gradually and stably in Taiwan. The complicated construction flow has been specialized stage by stage. In response to the changing times, new ideas of the school buildings transform into the developmental strategies of the government to lead Taiwan schools towards high-quality school facilities, meanwhile unfolding a new era to show the new campus, new environment and new style. School buildings, planning and development strategies will be influenced by the social context of environmental impact. In the 11st year of 21st Century, there are many notable new social contexts worth to concern, such as the impact of declining birthrate, aging society, multicultural education, systematic processes, ecological environment, technological development and investment for quality. For the sustainable development of school buildings in Taiwan, there are three important new strategies worth exploring for next ten years, viz. to update the standard of school buildings and equipment for all levels, to improve the effectiveness of overall planning of school buildings, and to carry out the policies for high-quality school environment.
