    Abstract: 亞太區IC通路商競爭力研究與轉型提案
    While Intel has been the world’s dominant PC Microprocessor maker for over two decades, it has had difficulty penetrating newer processor markets for tablets and smartphones, in which Qualcomm and Samsung are dominant. As a result Intel’s growth has slowed significantly in the last two years, in line with the declining PC shipments. To spur for the future growth, Intel needs to aggressively expand its business to mobile applications.
    This paper investigate current business model and incentive program between Intel and its APAC authorized embedded channel partners. Through the analysis, form a holistic distributor transformation strategy to accelerate on scale down initiative.
    In this paper, distributors are categorized into three categories. Components focus, system focus, and solution focus distributors. The analysis will focus on their core values and transformation paths to align with Intel’s mobile strategy.
