The research of “transitive + intransitive “type compound verbs Ⅱ -the relation between the verbs and transitivity- This project is a continuation of last year’s project. In last year’s project, derivative conditions from “-ageru” to“-agaru” are clarified as follows: 1. the derivation of “-agaru” denoting “direction” does not relate to the formation of “-ageru” and the previous verbs butrelate to the transitivity of the compound of “-ageru”. 2. the derivation of “-agaru” denoting “completion” relate to the formation of “-ageru” and the previous verbs, the precious verbs have to be production verbs. The followings will be clarified in this project: 1. Besides “-agaru”, there are compound verbs of “transitive + accusative “type like “-agaru”, “-magaru”, ”-katamaru”, “-tuku”, “-kireru”, do derivations of these verbs relate to transitivity? 2. Are the derivations of verbs mentioned in 1. the same with “-agaru” ? That is, one type is related to the transitivity of compound verbs, but the other type is related to the previous verbs. 3. The passive construction of “transitive +ageru” compound verbs and the construction of the head verb “-ageru”is the same with the construction of “transitive +agaru”compound verbs. What kinds of differences between them?
