    摘要: This thesis delves into the dynamic and evolving landscape of the global automobile industry, focusing on Hyundai Motor Group's (HMG) operations and strategies in the American market. It starts with an overview of the global automobile industry's history and recent market trends; the paper transitions into an introduction to HMG, highlighting its history and the range of motor brands under its umbrella. The analysis section comprehensively examines the American automobile market, emphasizing its critical importance to global automakers. It presents an overview of HMG's presence and performance in the U.S., current market situations and trends, and the main competitors. The core of the thesis identifies the key factors contributing to HMG's success in the U.S. market. These include the company's main strengths, such as superior quality management, a diverse product portfolio, and cost performance. Then, the paper further explores HMG's strategic approaches in the U.S. through the American localization strategy, including local production, product development, and marketing, as well as effective talent management to implement it. Despite its strengths and strategy, the thesis also addresses significant challenges HMG faces, such as improving brand perception. In conclusion, the paper discusses whether HMG can maintain its competitiveness and emerge as a market leader in the next generation of the automotive industry. Overall, the thesis provides insights into HMG's potential to shape the future of global automotive markets through a detailed overview, analysis, and strategic evaluation.
