This study focuses on the Taipei City Council's parliament information system, utilizing the information system success model framework to conduct a questionnaire survey. The objective is to assess the satisfaction of parliamentary staff with the system and to provide recommendations for its future development. The study yields five key conclusions: the parliament information system received positive feedback in terms of information quality, service quality, and user satisfaction, but there is potential for improvement in the system quality dimension. Users with different educational backgrounds exhibit significant differences in their perceptions of service quality, and those from different occupational backgrounds show significant differences in their overall satisfaction with the system. Additionally, there are significant differences in system quality, service quality, information quality, and user satisfaction among users with varying frequencies of system usage.
Based on these conclusions, the study proposes several recommendations. First, the functional design of the parliament information system should be enhanced, particularly in the system quality dimension. It is also important to investigate the specific needs of professional staff regarding the parliament information system. Furthermore, offering customized system extension services tailored to users with different occupational and educational backgrounds is recommended. Finally, implementing regular information education and promotion activities for first-time or infrequent users is crucial to increase their engagement and willingness to use the system.
