The study focuses on the repetitions which serve no syntactic and semantic functions in speech. These repetitions, which seemingly appear to be deviant from the ideal delivery of normal speech, should be regarded as natural products generated in the process of speaking. The study tries to justify the existence of these repetitions in natural speech, to analyze their forms and to demonstrate the duties they take in speech production.
