    Abstract: 本研究主要探討報紙版面設計對讀者認知、態度的影響。首先，透過對於我國版面設計的歷史演進與相關版面設計理論的介紹，探討現今台灣報紙版面設計的一些問題。進一步地，再配合個人對於國內主要報紙編輯的訪談，發展出本研究的四個自變項：版面編排方式（橫排或直排）、欄寬（15字與12字）、標題走向（由左到右與由右到左）、CVI設計形式（一張照片與兩張照片）。而在應變項方面，本文則是以吸引力、易讀性與專業水準三者作為應變項，以測量讀者對於這四個自變項的認知、態度為何。
