    Abstract: 人群模擬的研究日漸豐碩,並在電腦動畫產業有相當高的應用價值,但過去的研究大部分著重於碰撞避免、路徑導航及視覺呈現,對於個體在群體中的互動模式則鮮少貢獻。我們參考了社會心理學與群眾心理學等文獻,建立一個具溝通機制的即時人群模擬平台-IMCrowd[3]。在IMCrowd中,每個虛擬代理人(agent)不僅在連續空間具有感知、運動、碰撞避免及群聚等能力,同時亦可藉由情緒傳染與從眾壓力影響彼此每一步的決策與行動,因此能夠有效的表現群體形態的變化過程,如群眾圍觀、逃難興暴動。在此篇論文中,我們利用IMCrowd設計八個實驗案例以探討群體參數(如:群體大小、雙方群體大小的對稱性、群體初始位置分佈)與群體暴動嚴重程度的相關性,並設計三種滅少暴動傷亡的警察策略,以評估這些策略減少暴動嚴重程度的有效性,以及模擬過程自然突現(emerge)的有趣群體行為。
