Abstract:	朱熹《四書章句集注》建構儒學新「典範」（paradigms），影響深遠，明、清以來，人所共見。沿至民國以來，學者對此同樣也是頗多留意，不僅深化其中內涵，也藉此作為與世界思潮「對話」的基礎。只是多數留意於「四書」本文，而少留意朱熹註解內容，其實「四書」內涵乃是根源於朱熹《四書章句集注》，筆者嘗試釐清朱熹徵引的情況，解決漢、宋學之爭的歧義所在，也希望可以「齊一變而至於魯，魯一變而至於道」（《論語．雍也篇》），從文獻的分析討論，更進一步上究於朱熹思索的進程。事實上，一方面朱熹有關《四書》的撰作材料，從《集解》、《精義》，到《集注》、《或問》，其中之累積醞釀，相當豐富；再者，朱熹《四書章句集注》經由反覆的融鑄調整之後，文義說解力求簡潔，然而「簡嚴」文字，不易瞭解其深義，而間附時人之見，往往寓有義理救正之意，去取之間，未必可以真切明白其苦心，尤其思索的過程，可能在時人門生相互往來書信之中，卻已不見於朱熹《四書章句集注》之中，簡單註解文字，其實乃是經過幾番的刪削調整，更何況深寓之義理，於是去取之間，思索之過程，有賴於相關史料的輯考比對，而朱熹一生建構《四書章句集注》之義理內涵，也才能清楚明白。
