    Title: 荀子成聖之道中「心」與「情」所扮演的角色

    Abstract: 根據荀子的看法,君子養心而成聖之道在於跟隨老師的指導閱讀經典、學習禮樂並致力實踐禮。養心的目的之一在於使心之所可皆合乎理,並進一步「近盡欲」。何謂「欲」?荀子認為「情」為「性之質」,而「欲」為「情之應」。由此看來,成聖的功夫對一人的影響關涉於其「心」與「情」的教化培養。我們應如何瞭解「心」與「情」?養「心」、養「情」如何能成聖?本文透過檢視當代哲學家E. Slingerland對荀子道德心理學的批評,並參考近年道德心理學對道德判斷與道德傾向的實證研究,對這兩個問題提出初步看法。
