    Abstract: 本研究採取長期觀點比較企管碩士與電機碩士之生涯成就,及兩者在個人特徵與就業特徵方面之差異,並進而分別分析與企管碩士和電機碩士生涯成就有關之因素。本研究發現,(一)企管碩士與電機碩士在年薪與生涯滿足上均無顯著差異。(二)企管碩士起薪較高,但電機碩士在就業十年內即可拉平。(三)電機碩士之生涯滿足隨著就業年數顯著增加,但企管碩士並無此種現象。這應與企管碩士之生涯歷程較具動態性與人際互動性,並導致高不確定性有關。(四)解釋企管碩士與電機碩士生涯成就的因素並不相同,顯示兩者之生涯環境、對兩者之生涯諮商亦應有異。(五)無論是企管碩士或電機碩士,兩者均有良好之生涯機會;而是否積極投入工作(每周工作時間較長)均與企管碩士和電機碩士的主、客觀生涯成就呈正相關,因此從事生涯規劃時,重要的是配合當事人性向,選擇其所喜好之職類。
    The career success, individual differences and career process characteristics of MBAs and MEEs in Taiwan are compared over a ten-years period. The determinants of career success of MBAs and MEEs are also examined. Main conclusion are: 1.There are no differences of long-term annual salary and career satisfaction between MBAs and MEEs in Taiwan. 2.The starting annual salary of MBAs is significantly higher than MEEs, reflecting a credential effect, but within ten years this discrepancy is dimirushed. While the level of career satlsfaction of MBAs keeps the same along the employment years, that of MEEs is increasing. The career MBAs is certainly more dynamic and uncertain. 3.Determinants of career success of MBAs and MEEs are somewhat different, that means their career contexts are distinct and their career counseling should be adjusted accordingly. 4.Career opportunities of both MBAs and MEEs are good enough in Taiwan, at the same time, work involvement is among the most important determinants of career success. So, aptitude and job interest should be the critical factors in career planning.
