As a preliminary study, this work attempts to explore voting participation of disabilities in Taiwan. Drawing from disability population of Taiwan, authors collect 1203 samples by telephone interview. There are several findings. First, category and degree of disability could be the key factor deciding participation. However, age and education do not show significant effect on voting participation. Second, both party identification and media attention could promote voting rate of disabilities. Third, no barrier environment is not an effective variable explaining voting participation of disabilities.
