    摘要: 一九九O年外蒙實施民主化後，強烈的民族主義意識現在在宗教信仰恢復、舊有文字的恢復教學及使用、以及對開國始祖成吉思汗的平反。本文就此三方面探討其發展的背景、經過以及面對的問題等。
    Mongolia was a satellite state in the Soviet bloc before the collapse of the former Soviet Union. Under communists rule, Mongolia followed the Soviet pattern of development in terms of politics, economics, society and culture. It was only with the 1990 democratization movement that Mongolia obtained its true independence. Nationalist sentiment has predominated in Mongolia since then. This paper investigates the phenomenon of nationalism in Mongolia, including the Mongolian people’s efforts to restore traditional religious beliefs, implement language reform, and rehabilitate the cult of Chinggis Khan.
