    Abstract: 本文主要探究造成地區限定優勢之因素,與多國公司降低優勢之地區限定程度的方法。個案研究發現:(1)影響因素主要可分成環境、組織內次系統及優勢特性等三個層次;(2)多國公司可透過轉化的方式,降低優勢之地區限定程度,以利進行國際擴張;(3)不同造成地區限定優勢之因素搭配不同之轉化方式,可降低優勢之地區限定程度。為加速優勢的跨國移轉,本文對業界的建議為加強非地區限定優勢之建立、將地區限定優勢轉化為非地區限定優勢,以及建立一套完善的優勢管理制度。
    The purpose of this paper is to explore the concept of location-bounded advantages and to investigate how multinational enterprises (MNEs) can transform location-bounded advantages to non-location-bounded advantages. Based on the relevant literature and case findings, we find that: (1) host country environmental factors, organizational capabilities and nature of advantages affect the degree of an advantage`s location-boundness; (2) through appropriate transformation, MNEs can lower the degree of location-boundness of an advantage and transfer the advantage to different countries; and (3) the antecedents causing location-boundness of an advantage should match the transformation methods. For MNEs attempting to speed up the international transfer of advantages, our findings suggest that MNEs should enhance the development of non-location-bounded advantages, transforming location- bounded advantages into non-location-bounded advantages, and establish advantage management systems.
