    摘要: This project seeks to identify, explain and trace sources of benefits from the
    implementation of enterprise systems (ES). Enterprise systems are packaged
    application software which provide seamless control of inter and intra organizational
    operations at all levels and streamlines inefficient processes.
    By applying a comprehensive enterprise systems benefit framework and using a
    technique of perceived net benefit flow graphs in longitudinal case studies of
    multiple organizations this study plans to analyze the benefit development paths and
    sources of benefits of different dimensions in the three years after an integrated
    process system is implemented. The questions that this project searches for answers
    are:
    1. How do organizations realize net benefits from integrated processes and when
    are such benefits realized?
    2. Are different categories of benefits independent of each other?
    3. What are the probable causes of those perceived net benefits?
