    Abstract: Georg Simmel 在1918 年的最後一場演講「近代文化的衝突」(Der Konflikt der modernen Kulture)中,談論了文化與生命的關連,他指出,文化是人的一種精神表徵,以獨特的方式將主體與客體連結在一起,涵蓋了我們的生活乃至生命。人類生命的創造性活動創造出若干的形象,這個形象乃至過程即是文化,文化也是人類生命的一種現實化的表現形式。1透過文化的產物—無論有形或無形,我們可以看到文化中蘊涵的精神,也就是一種人乃至社會內部精神的外部展現,從這個意義上出發,文化本身並沒有高低優劣的區別,而是一種生命乃至生活方式的展現。漫畫作為人類創造性活動的展現,亦是文化的一環。
