    Abstract: This document has been prepared to introduce the business plan of MyGift, an online gift shop providing personalized gift recommendations. The business plan includes business structure, company goals, capital requirements, start-up costs, projected financial statements, investment analysis and the industry outlook.
    MyGift Limited is an internet online store offering various types of products for gift selections. MyGift has identified its primary service on providing customer personalized gift advice; to that end the company has focused its efforts on establishment of a gift classification system to classify products based on recipient’s gender, age, personality, interest, profession….etc. The company goal is to be the premier website for online gift shopping adviser.
    MyGift will register its legal structure as a limited company, 100% owned by the company founder. As MyGift Limited operates its business on internet, the company will be started from the owner’s residential place at initial stage for cost saving purpose. The company will be established with seed capital of NT$500,000 for company operations. From the investment analysis based on a conservative approach, we project operation loss in the first year. Start from the second year, the company will turn to be profitable with positive net profit margin of 8.5% at the end of the period; the gross sales will reach TWD600,000. In year four, the net profit margin will reach 22% with gross sales rise to TWD720,000.
