    Abstract: 檔案係一手史料,對於研究人員是不可或缺的研究素材。檔案可忠實呈現歷史事件的原貌,因而對於中學歷史教育可發揮相輔相乘的效果。英、美、香港等地對於檔案應用於中學歷史教學已實施多年,可供國內在應用檔案於歷史教學借鏡。本文主要探討英、美、香港與國內在應用檔案於中學歷史教學實施之方式。此外,檔案館與檔案人員在實施歷史教學過程中所應扮演的角色也一併探討。
    Archives are primary materials essential for researchers. Since archives always reflect historical events, they are tremendous tools in teaching history at schools. Countries, such as England、United States and Hong Kong have been applying archive in teaching history at high schools. Their experiences serve as examples for Taiwan. This paper mainly delineates how archives were introduced in high school`s history classes in England、United States、Hong Kong and Taiwan. And in addition, the roles that archive and archivist play in implementing history classes are also discussed.
