    摘要: 本計劃旨於探討90年代美國與台灣公共關係研究的版圖、變化與趨勢。主要的研究目的有三。第一，針對1990-1999年間，美國與台灣公共關係研究的研究屬性、研究主題、理論基礎以及研究方法等問題進行瞭解。第二，以上述面向為基礎，比較美國與台灣公關研究之異同。第三，針對未來研究日程（Agenda）提出預測與展望。本研究採用內容分析法，西文部份之觀察範圍以美國四份公關主要期刊為主，共蒐集得760篇論文，中文部份則涵蓋144篇期刊論文與博碩士論文。本計畫並針對上述研究問題提報研究發現與結論。
    The purpose of this project is to explore the domain and trend of public relations research in USA and in Taiwan in the 1990s. The following four issues were examined: research purpose, research topic, theoretical paradigm and research method. 760 American articles drawn from four leading US public relations journals and 144 Chinese public relations journal articles, theses and dissertations in Taiwan were content-analyzed. Relevant findings and conclusions are reported.
