    摘要: 印度尼西亞、馬來西亞、菲律賓、新台幣及泰國等五國於一九六七年八月八日發表「曼谷宣言」組成「東南亞國家協會」，至今已逾三十年。本文試圖探討該組織的發展、演變經過，及其問題或困難，並評估其未來前景。
    The Association of Southeast Asian Nations, ASEAN, was founded over three decades ago by the August 8, 1967 signing of the “Bangkok Declaration” by the five founding Southeast Asian nations of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. This paper attempts to explore the development, evolution, and problems of this organization and to assess its future prospects.
