简介：外國語文學院於民國78年8月1日自原文學院分出成立，為全國公立大學中之首創。目前設有英國語文學系（含碩、博士班）、阿拉伯語文學系、斯拉夫語文學系（含碩士班）、日本語文學系(含碩士班)、韓國語文學系(含碩士班)、土耳其語文學系、語言學研究所（含博士班）、歐洲語文學系、中東與中亞研究碩士學位學程、東南亞語言與文化學士學位學程及外文中心等，另設有英語教學碩士在職專班。目前外語學院總共傳授英、法、德、西、韓、土、日、阿、俄、波、捷、烏、塞爾維亞-克羅埃西亞、越、泰、印/馬等十六種外國語文，另配合自94年起承辦之教育部「北區大學外文中心」計畫，增聘多名外籍師資，支援外語教學，近年開設之外語課程近三十種。(2023年6月更新)
