    Abstract: 高宗朝之所以進行政制更革原因有三:矯正現有制度流弊、適應現實環境需要、臣僚爭奪權力。至於政制更革之內容,以新創制度最多,其次是恢復元豐以前制度,再次則是變更舊制,恢復元豐與元祐制度皆不多見。就政制更革之影響言,除改善財政、提升行政效率、加強政治穩定三項正面影響外,也帶來了冗官充斥、宰相專權兩項流弊。值得注意者,高宗朝政制更革於不同之環境有不同之重心,亦即戰爭時期重創新以適變,和平時期重復舊以處常。抗敵與建國各不偏廢,終能使高宗成就中興之業。
