| 摘要: | 由於優秀的地理位置與條件，沖繩自冷戰時期以來至今，始終在美、日兩國的軍事戰略視角下具有特殊的角色。透過其地理條件，美、日兩國在不同時代的安全環境下，型塑了對於沖繩的戰略考量、政策構想與軍事應用規劃。而在今日面對中國在印太地區逐漸擴大的軍事影響力，以及美國與日本在國家戰略上的轉變，沖繩在美、日兩國今日的戰略視角與安全環境下，所展現的軍事戰略地位為何？而地理條件與兩國間特有的同盟框架 - 美日安保體制，又如何影響今日美國與日本在對於沖繩的戰略視角與軍事建設？
本研究期望能以「地緣政治學」（Geopolitics）的角度切入，以沖繩的地理因素與美、日兩國對其所設定的戰略角色之關聯作為主軸，探討現今沖繩在地緣政治的範疇中，對於兩國與安保體制的戰略地位與價值。希望能以此探究沖繩基於地理特色而產生的戰略價值，在今日中國軍事力量崛起這一印太地區安全環境的變化所反映出的內涵與特殊性。
Due to its advantageous geographic location and conditions, Okinawa has held a unique role in the military strategic perspectives of both the United States and Japan since the Cold War. Through its geographical characteristics, the two countries have, under varying security environments across different periods, shaped their strategic considerations, policy frameworks, and military deployment plans concerning Okinawa.In the present context—marked by China’s expanding military influence in the Indo-Pacific region and the strategic shifts of both the United States and Japan—this study seeks to explore the current military strategic position of Okinawa within the strategic perspectives and security environments of the two countries. Furthermore, it examines how Okinawa’s geographical conditions and the distinctive alliance framework between the two nations—the U.S.-Japan Security Treaty—jointly influence their strategic views and military development regarding Okinawa today.
This research adopts a geopolitical perspective, focusing on the relationship between Okinawa’s geographical factors and the strategic roles assigned to it by the United States and Japan. It aims to investigate Okinawa’s current strategic status and value within the broader geopolitical landscape of the U.S.-Japan alliance. Ultimately, the study seeks to uncover the implications and distinct characteristics of Okinawa’s geography-based strategic value, as reflected in the evolving security dynamics of the Indo-Pacific, particularly in the face of China’s military rise. |
