    Title: 從機緣分析角度探討語音社群平台使用者的社交參與行為:以Clubhouse為例

    Abstract: 近年語音社群平台成為重要的線上社交場域,其中以 Clubhouse 為代表。相較於圖文社群,語音互動具有同步性、臨場感與流動性的特徵,使用者在動態情境中協商參與邊界、展演自我並形塑關係網絡。相較過去多聚焦於圖文社群之功能或流行現象的研究,關於語音社群中閱聽者如何在具體脈絡運用平台機緣、形成社交行動策略並轉化為可持續的人際連結與資源的討論仍相對不足。基於此缺口,本文聚焦閱聽人如何在平台機緣之下進場、互動與退出,以及房間機制如何影響關係的生成與延續。

    本研究以「機緣」(affordances)為視角,探討語音社群平台(以 Clubhouse 為例)中閱聽人的社交行動策略與關係生成。採質性取徑,結合半結構式深度訪談與參與觀察,於平台原生脈絡蒐集資料並進行開放式編碼與三角檢證;共訪談 9 位使用Clubhouse一年以上的長期使用者。

    研究發現:(1)大廳探索、舉手與上台及公開/私人房等設計,建構了從旁觀到互動再到主持的參與路徑;其持續性受房規與治理機制調節。(2)閱聽人常以掛房與關注房主/主題建立弱連結,視情境轉入發問、協作主持或自開房,並透過個人簡介與跨平台延伸深化關係與資源流動。(3)語音社群可同時促進結合型與橋接型社會資本,特定脈絡亦出現鏈接型資本;然隱私與權限設計界定了信任與參與邊界。綜合而言,語音平台並非僅是技術媒介,而是由參與者持續重構的社交空間;研究觀察所見,使用者在情境中挪用機緣,能形塑並持續增厚橫跨線上、跨平台與線下的人際連結。
    Voice-based social platforms have become important online social venues, with Clubhouse as a representative case. Compared with image-text media, voice interaction is characterized by synchronicity, presence, and fluidity. Prior scholarship has paid less attention to how listeners on voice platforms mobilize affordances in context. This study examines entry, interaction, and exit under platform affordances, and how room mechanisms shape tie formation and persistence.

    Guided by an affordance perspective, we use a qualitative design combining semi-structured interviews and participant observation in native settings, analyzed through open coding and triangulation. We interviewed nine long-term users (over one year).

    Findings show that hallway exploration, raise-hand/on-stage features, and public/private visibility structure a pathway from lurking to interaction to hosting, with continuity moderated by room rules and governance. Users often build weak ties by staying in rooms and following hosts/topics, then shift to asking questions, co-moderating, or starting rooms; profiles and cross-platform links deepen relationships. Voice platforms thus operate as social spaces continually reconfigured by participants; in-situ appropriation of affordances can progressively thicken ties across online, cross-platform, and offline settings.
