| Abstract: | 父親，一向是被視為家庭賺錢養家者的角色，較少成為親職教養研究的核心主體，多數研究仍著重於承擔家庭親職教養責任的母親。近年來，隨著台灣家庭與人口結構的改變，父親在家庭中的性別角色亦因時代變遷逐漸產生變化。本研究從父親對於子女的教育投資出發，進一步探討其在實際教養實踐中的參與情形。本研究將教育投資分為時間和金錢，並以此分析不同世代父親對於子女教育投入差異，藉此理解父職角色在教養歷程中的限制與可能性。在研究方法上，本研究使用「華人家庭動態調查」資料，聚焦父親在不同年代對子女教育投入的變化，同時探討影響父職參與的關鍵因素，包括父親出生世代、教育程度、社會經濟地位指標（ISEI）、性別意識形態與子女教養責任態度等。透過上述分析，期望更全面地揭示父親在家庭教養中所扮演的重要角色與發展。
Traditionally, fathers have been seen as the primary breadwinners in the family. When it comes to issues of parenting, most research still focuses on women taking on the responsibility of caregiving. In recent years, with changes in family and population structures in Taiwan, the gender roles of fathers have gradually evolved. Therefore, this study takes fathers' investment in their children's education as a starting point to explore fathers' educational practices towards their children. The study categorizes educational investment into time and money, analyzing the involvement of fathers from different generations in their children's education, attempting to understand the constraints and possibilities of fathers in their family roles. In terms of research methodology, this study uses data from the Panel Study of Family Dynamics（PSFD） to compare generational differences in fathers' investment in their children's education, while observing the factors that actually influence paternal involvement. The study aims to highlight the important role fathers play in children's education process. |
