| Abstract: | 面對人口快速老化所帶來的社會挑戰，老年人的心理健康與社會適應成為當代高齡社會不可忽視的課題。其中，寂寞感（loneliness）作為一種主觀經驗，已被證實與高齡者的身心健康密切相關，對生活品質構成重大威脅。隨著數位科技的發展，網路使用能力被視為減緩社會孤立、促進社會融合的重要媒介。本研究以社會支持理論為基礎，運用2019年衛生福利部國民健康署「中老年身心社會生活狀況長期追蹤調查」（TLSA）次級資料，探討社會支持與網路使用對高齡者寂寞感之影響，並驗證網路使用是否在其中扮演中介角色。本研究針對65歲以上老年人進行分析，有效樣本數為3,931人，採用階層迴歸與結構方程模型進行檢驗。結果顯示，女性、年齡長、財務滿意度高、健康狀況佳、與子女及手足聯絡頻繁、與朋友及鄰居見面頻繁、主觀感受到的社會支持功能高者，其寂寞感顯著較低。雖然網路使用本身對寂寞感無直接影響，但社會支持對網路使用具有正向效果，顯示支持程度較高者網路使用率亦較高。中介分析進一步顯示，網路使用未能在社會支持與寂寞感之間形成顯著中介效果，證實其並非連結兩者之關鍵橋樑。整體而言，實體社會支持仍為降低老年人寂寞感的核心因素。基於上述結果，本研究建議政府應參考國際經驗，建構跨部門整合的高齡寂寞感應對政策體系，將寂寞視為關乎心理健康與社會連結的公共議題，納入長照、衛生、數位與社會福利等政策領域進行協同規劃。同時，應深化在地化的社區支持網絡，強化高齡者日常生活中的情感與實質連結，並積極縮減其在數位參與上的落差與心理障礙。在實務層面，應推動社會支持功能的系統性評估，培力社區工作者與志工成為高齡者的連結橋梁，並強化數位工具在社會參與與情感支持中的實用性與可近性。
This study investigates the relationship among social support, internet use, and loneliness in older adults, using secondary data from the 2019 Taiwan Longitudinal Study on Aging (TLSA). Grounded in social support theory, the analysis included 3,931 individuals aged 65 and above, using hierarchical regression and structural equation modeling. Results showed that being female, older in age, financially satisfied, in better health, having frequent contact with children and siblings, meeting friends and neighbors more often, and perceiving stronger support functions were significantly associated with lower loneliness. While internet use had no direct effect on loneliness, social support positively influenced internet use, yet internet use did not mediate the relationship between social support and loneliness. These findings highlight that offline social support remains the key factor in reducing loneliness among older adults. Drawing on international strategies from the UK, Australia, and Japan, this study recommends that governments develop integrated, cross-sectoral frameworks to address loneliness as a public health issue. This includes aligning long-term care, health, digital inclusion, and social welfare policies, strengthening localized support networks, and reducing digital barriers to ensure technology fosters—rather than excludes—older adults’ participation and well-being. |
