Entrainment Process in Team: Temporal Perspective Characteristics and Team Effectiveness
    Authors:

In human thought, "time" is the most challenging but also one of the vaguest
concept; nevertheless, it is always one of the most important issues of concern in the
philosophy and science. In recent years, the importance of time topics in the
organization research should not be underestimated. Also, even though there have
been many arguments in the critical role of team entrainment in team dynamic and
process, few evidence can support this theoretical framework. Specifically, how team
entrainment works in the link between team members' temporal perspective
characteristics and team effectiveness. In view of this, the research program will take
induction method (the first-year research project: critical incident technique and
resorting process), and then conduct the content validation (the second year research
project: reliability and validity test). It is expected to conduct a holistic understanding
of the concept of team entrainment, and to develop a suitable theory and measurement
in order to facilitate the use of the follow-up research and analysis (the third year
research project: theoretical model and hypotheses testing). In addition, the research
project will further explore the relationship between team members' temporal
perspective characteristics and team effectiveness, as well as the concept of team
entrainment on such relationship in order to provide a preliminary theoretical
    blueprint to the future studies.
