Abstract:	執行本計畫，首先，發展符合國際標準的身心障礙及自閉症者的生活品質量表，將可以確認重要指標，為未來所有身心障礙及自閉症成人的預後及介入效果提供重要客觀依據。其次，對自閉症族群，從幼兒到青少年的發展有全面性的認識，這項認識，包括在嘉義與台北兩個不同城市中成長的自閉症個案，他們在診斷、症狀、認知、適應行為，以及生活品質有那些相同及不同之處？他們的發展軌跡為何？是什麼因素影響了這樣的相同或不同的發展？這些成果，不僅可以與國際學術界作充分對話，對台灣，亦可藉由嶄新研究資訊，提供醫療、教育及社會福利上的政策建言。
