Abstract:	紙張及其衍生產品在我們生活中是幾乎無所不見，紙及紙板的每年人均消費量（Per Capita Consumption， PCC），更是一個衡量國家經濟、教育及生活水準的重要指標，其消費量的增減與國家生產總額（GDP）成長率有絕對的正相關，台灣雖非全球造紙及紙品消耗的大國，然而卻可在全球PCC排名第11位，由此可見台灣對於紙品需求及應用活絡。而印刷技術的發展，更與人類文明的進步更密不可分，它不僅改變了知識傳播的方式，更深刻地影響了社會、文化和經濟的發展，紙與印刷雖為上下游產業，然而廣義而言印刷製程，也是紙品加工的一個環節，兩個產業的緊密程度不言可喻。因網路及資訊科技的發展，轉變了人們對於訊息傳遞的方式，進而降低印刷及傳統紙媒體的需求，而減低文化用紙的消費量，但在於包裝、標籤的應用等卻因電子商務而大幅的增加；近年來更因減塑、循環經濟、可持續發展的風潮，讓紙張及紙品加工賦予了新的意義及任務。紙品加工及印刷都是國際大宗貿易的項目之一，本論文主要探討國際市場現況及發展機會，期望可找出未來可發展的方向，對兩個產業有些助益。
