The major purpose of this study is to explore the new perspectives of the post-war Taiwanese literature, which had already enter the college system for more than ten years and accumulated a lot of related research result. Therefore, in my opinion, it is necessary to start from the external environment and historical conditions of each period of literature to seek a new point of view in the relationship of literature to society, and to political situation. This study addresses the Cold War knowledge structure to objectively grasp the various aspects of post-war literature in Taiwan. It also refers to Korean literature, which underwent the same Japanese colonial domination and the post-war Cold War experience, to investigate the scene of Taiwanese literature under Cold War. Although there are differences in the process, both of them co-founded, or were incorporated into the so-called "liberal camps" in the continuation and severance of colonial times and Cold War. Consequently, comparison between responses of the two countries to adapt the historical topic can definitely let us learn about diverse aspects of post-war Taiwanese literature in a more objective view. There are three main subjects of the study. Firstly, Cold War Cognition and Literary Theory Comparison between Taiwan and Antarctic Literary Magazine --Taiwan art magazine "Military Literature / Revolutionary Literature and Art" (1954-1962) and South Korea "New Sun" (1952-1959). Secondly, Cold War in American Culture and the Change of Literature between Taiwan and South Korea - Taking the "The Asia Foundation" as an Example of Cultural Aid to Taiwan and South Korea. Lastly, How "Freedom and Democracy" Are Compatible with "Anti-Communism" - Anti-Communist Keynote and Critical Discourse on "Free China" and "Ideological Field".
