    Abstract: 德希達在《幾何學起源》的導論中，一方面批判胡塞爾對幾何學起源的思考具有目的論色彩，但另一方面他的分析也凸顯出「模糊本質」的重要性。後者被德勒茲繼承並發展為「物質性」，以致於提出「依循」物質性的少數科學並設想一種平滑空間的幾何學。從梅洛龐蒂的角度思考，「接觸的平滑空間」的可能性條件在於身體的運動(即，身體投向物的方式、身體在世界存在的方式)：平滑空間在成為手的運動空間之前，首先，它已經是手的動作(身體的運動)所產生的空間，產生空間的運動，並不同於空間中的運動，這正是「質料本質」要告訴我們的。從這點出發，我們可以重新思考科學的創造性及歷史性問題。
    In the introduction to Husserl's Origin of Geometry, Derrida critiques the husserlian thought implied a teleological sense, but on the other hand, his analysis reveals the value of the ‘vague essence’. The latter is inherited and developed as materiality by Deleuze, who distinguishes the minor science engaged in following materiality and is therefore capable of conceiving a geometry of smooth space. For Merleau-Ponty, the condition of possibility of a smooth space of contact consists on the movement of body: the smooth space is already a space produced by the motion of body before becoming a space in which moves the body. A motion which generates space is distinct from motion in space. That is what reveals the ‘material essence’, which permits us to reconsider the problem of creativity and historicity of science.
