Abstract: | 本研究旨在探討「顏色詞」與「成語」結合作為文化課程的內容,並發展出適合中級華語學習者的教學設計。成語為接觸中華文化相當重要的語言特色,然而以往的成語教學較零散於一般的課堂上,缺乏一套主題或系統性的教學,且學習者常因成語的雙層表義性而掌握不住其內涵或在不適當的時機使用進而引發誤會或尷尬的處境。而在成語主題性的選擇中,筆者認為「顏色」為相當好的選擇,因生活中隨處可見色彩的蹤跡。
本研究所採取的教學模式以ADDIE為骨架,並以5C教學目標為主要依據,確保教學的目標不會偏離軌道。教學主題分為三大類,分別為暖性色、中性色與冷色。本研究方法採用文獻分析、實驗教學、觀察分析與調查分析法。首先透過文獻分析法探究顏色在中華文化常見的意涵,並蒐集具顏色詞的成語,整理出它們的規律和走向,並選出具有代表性的成語,設計一套課程教學的架構。而透過實驗教學法進行兩輪的教學實踐,並且輔以觀察研究法、調查分析法的教師日誌、訪談、學習者滿意度調查以及綜合性評量進行學習成效檢測並維持信效度。
本研究結果主要涵蓋三個方面:一、學習者能深入瞭解中華文化顏色的意涵與思維與自身國家有何不同。二、設計出一套適合中級華語學習者關於具顏色詞成語的課程。三、透過學習該課程,學習者能理解具顏色詞成語的涵意並提升表達與交際能力,達到跨文化的目標。 The research is to explore ways to integrate "color words" and "Chinese idioms" into a cultural course and to develop an instructional design that suits intermediate Chinese learners. Chinese idioms are significant language features crucial to understanding Chinese culture. However, teaching Chinese idioms traditionally lacks thematic focus and systematic instruction. Moreover, learners of Chinese as a Foreign Language (CFL) often struggle with the multiple meanings of Chinese idioms and may misuse them in inappropriate contexts. By focusing on Chinese idioms, the researcher identifies "Color" as a particularly relevant topic, given its ubiquitous presence in daily life.
The course structure is based on the ADDIE model with an emphasis on achieving the 5Cs. The teaching content encompasses three parts: warm colors, neutral colors, and cold colors. The research methodology includes documentary analysis, experimental teaching, observational techniques, and surveys. Initially, documentary analysis is used to delve into the common meanings in Chinese culture, to gather Chinese idioms related to color, and to identify any regular patterns. Following that, representative Chinese idioms were selected for curriculum design. The course implementation was evaluated through two rounds of teaching practice using observational research, instructional diaries, interviews, questionnaires, and summative evaluations to ensure curriculum reliability and validity.
The findings of this study can be summarized in three areas. First, CFL learners can gain a more profound understanding of the meanings and philosophies associated with colors in Chinese culture, and how these differ from those in their own cultures. Second, a curriculum focusing on color-related idioms, tailored to intermediate CFL learners, has been developed. Third, by engaging with this curriculum, learners can grasp the meanings of color-related idioms, improve their expressive and communicative skills, and ultimately accomplish cross-cultural communication objectives. |
