    摘要: 在2019年底COVID-19的影響下,總體環境層面影響甚大,從政府封城、經濟停擺、生活型態改變、醫療量能與資源缺乏等,使得許多企業接連倒閉,然而在危機來臨時,醫療器材相關的廠商卻能逆勢突起,從口罩、清潔、防護、疫苗、藥品、呼吸器、血氧機、額溫槍、檢測產品等更是供不應求,在2022年全球單日COVID-19新增確診數逐漸下降之時,台灣卻在2022年4月後單日COVID-19新增確診數迅速飆升,於2022年5月躍居全球單日COVID-19新增確診數排名第一,導致COVID-19檢測試劑不足,故本文欲探討COVID-19檢測相關廠商在新冠疫情下崛起之因素與未來策略之分析。
    本研究以總體環境分析及資源基礎理論進行探討,選擇這次新冠疫情中台灣常用之抗原快篩與核酸檢測,作為個案公司之選擇,並挑選泰博公司與瑞基公司。泰博公司本身為台灣最大之血糖機代工廠商,於2020年獲得中研院之COVID-19抗原檢測技轉,並結合有多年的醫療器材生產與行銷相關經驗,在2022年台灣疫情爆發時,躍升為台灣最大之抗原快篩廠商。瑞基公司長年專注於動物檢測領域,在2014年全球蝦病檢測市占達七成,在COVID-19疫情期間持續研發COVID-19檢測相關產品,並陸續獲得各國之認證,且占有台灣35%之市占。藉由分析,瞭解公司資源與競爭優勢,給予未來之策略建議,並持續創造競爭優勢,開拓台灣與全球檢測市場。
    Under the influence of COVID-19, the general environment has been greatly affected. Government lockdown, economic shutdowns, lifestyle changes, and lack of medical resources, many companies have closed down one after another. However, when the crisis came, medical device manufacturers are able to buck the trend. Masks, cleaning, protection, vaccines, medicines, respirators, blood oxygen machines, forehead thermometers, and diagnostic products are in short supply. In 2022, while the number of new diagnoses per day in the world gradually declines, Taiwan has rapidly increased. Resulting in the shortage of COVID-19 detection reagents, this article intends to discuss the factors and future strategies for Taiwan diagnostic companies in COVID-19 pandemic.

    This study uses the PESTEL analysis and Resource-based theory, and selects TaiDoc and GeneReach Company. TaiDoc is the largest blood glucose machine manufacturer in Taiwan. In 2020, it obtained the technology transfer of COVID-19 antigen detection technology from Academia Sinica, and combined with experience in the production and marketing of medical device. When the COVID-19 broke out in Taiwan in 2022, it jumped to the largest antigen rapid screening manufacturer in Taiwan. GeneReach has been focusing on the field of animal testing for many years. During the COVID-19, it continued to develop products related to COVID-19 testing, and successively obtained certifications from various countries, and had market share for 35% in Taiwan. Through analysis, we can understand the company`s resources and competitive advantages, give strategic suggestions, and continue to create competitive advantages to develop the Taiwan and global testing markets.
