    Abstract: 本計畫嘗試以前人的研究為基礎,回到傳統中國建構汗的知識的文化脈絡,重新檢視和汗有關的論述和認識是如何形成的。檢視的問題主要有三個方面:一、傳統醫籍如何分類與汗相關的疾病?與汗法相關的治療技術?二、汗作為一種病證,以及汗法作為一種治療的手段,傳統的論者如何建構它與不同身體部位,以及不同年齡、性別的病者間的關係?三、在前述討論基礎上,檢視傳統有關汗和汗法的認識的分期問題,說明傳統中國醫療史發展的大勢與可能動力。 
    To understand how did traditional recognition of sweat is constructed, this project is going to study three issues about sweat discussed in medical literatures of traditional China. Firstly, how did the traditional medical literatures classify diseases of sweat and sweat as one of the therapeutic methods? Secondly, how did traditional scholars construct the relationship between sweat, as diseases and therapeutic methods, and different parts of body, gender and age? Thirdly, how do we treat the trend the change of recognition of sweat in traditional China?
