During 20th century, many spiritual workers from the East went to the West to preach. Mindfulness research shows an increasing trend year by year. This research aims to systematically integrate the effects of mindfulness-based intervention ((Mindfulness based stress reduction, MBSR; Mindfulness based cognitive therapy, MBCT; Acceptance and commitment therapy, ACT) using bibliometric analysis, meta-analysis and network meta-analysis. Mindfulness research shows an increasing trend year by year. The results showed that the papers of American Psychiatric Association (2013), Hofman et al. (2010) and A-Tjak et al. (2015) were widely cited . The clustering of the co-citation analysis showed that the popular themes of interventional research on mindfulness therapy are commitment therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, acceptance commitment therapy, mindfulness-based commitment therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, mindfulness-based stress reduction, borderline personality disorder and dialectical behavior therapy. The keywords of co-occurrence analysis shows that the highest frequency words contained mindfulness, depression, dialectical behavior therapy, therapeutic intervention, and meditation meditation. The United States had absolute academic leadership in this field, and it has formed a close cooperation network with other countries with a large amount of papers. Among them, the University of Washington and the University of Nevada in the United States were important research institutions, and their published literatures were widely cited. A total of 81 studies were included (MBSR: 36; MBCT: 13; ACT: 32). The results showed that three types of mindfulness-based interventions (MBSR, MBCT, and ACT) have significant effects on reducing perceived stress, anxiety and depression, and improving mindfulness. In addition, MBSR has a moderate to high effect on improving well-being and self-compassion; MBCT has a moderate effect on improving self-compassion; ACT has a small effect on improving well-being. The results of network meta-analysis showed that MBSR was most effective in reducing stress perception and improving mindfulness, ranking before MBCT and ACT. And MBCT was most effective in reducing anxiety and depression symptoms, ranking before MBSR and ACT. In addition, the study provided suggestions for the future study of mindfulness-based interventions.
