Sunflower student movement was the biggest movement that influences society and state very much, but it was also a good opportunity to review the practice of democracy in our country. Different from the past political participation, the power of Facebook was discussed very often in this movement. This study found that Facebook affected university students to participate the movement or not. However, interpersonal factors and rational factors really affected the degree of participation.
