    摘要: 本文將新聞教科書提出的知識視為一套監視與訓育系統。不同於以往研究教科書的方法論點;我們主張,教科書不應僅被視為一種學門知識、一種靜態知識的呈現,教科書提出的是一套有效的「內在監視系統」,透過馴化、監視與紀律過程,使學習者具備自主自持的能力,確保社會正常秩序的運作。新聞教科書透過「倫理」的道德技術,編織了一張自由卻又強制的網;其次,新聞媒體作為特定的社會機構,必須從整個生活世界的知識倉儲挪用對事實的普遍性看法。最後,新聞教科書維持與再製新聞知識權力網絡的規範命令,藉由此類書籍,新聞此一真理政權才能被學習、被保存以及制度化下來。
    In this paper we propose to analyze journalism textbooks. We are concerned with journalism textbooks as they are generators of a historically specific discourse.News facts are linked in a circular relation with the systems of power. They are developed by the exercise of power and used in turn to legitimate the further exercise of such power. For Foucault, ”discipline” is a principle of control over the production of discourse. The individual is not self-determining, but an effect and means of disciplinary and surveillance techniques. Therefore, journalism textbooks work not only to render then readers as subjects of power, but also constitute them as a powerful subject.
