    摘要: 繼Internet之後，目前資訊界最熱門的話題便是Intranet。透過報章雜誌與各類傳播媒體的競相報導，Intranet這個名詞被炒得紅透了半邊天，然而什麼是 Intranet? 如何建構Intranet? Intranet究竟有何影響力，以及圖書館如何由傳統的區域網路與Intranet的應用轉換到Intranet等，諸如此類的話題，乃是本文所嘗試要去探討的，希望能藉此拋磚引玉，提供國內圖書資訊界未來發展Intranet之參考。
    Internet, Intranet Information Service Increasingly, with the advent of Internet theIntranet has come to be the hotest topic nowadays. It has been reviewed and discuss in onsiderable detail on journals, magazines and media. Accordingly, Intranet seems be the most romising state-of-the-art technology. This article tries to explore issues as what is Intranet? How to buil an Intranet? What`s the impact? Ho do libraries from applications on the raditional LAN to the Intranet environment? and others.
