    Abstract: 一九九七年七月一日凌晨六時,中共人民解放軍主力進駐香港;與香港有地緣利害的國家,如英、美、日、中華民國及東協諸國,均受到或多或少的影響。就中共本身而言,以香港為基地可扼南海航道的安全:就英國而言,英軍勢力將正式退出南中國海;就中華民國而言,南沙疆土的防衛將更加艱困;就美國而言,美軍前進部署的基地將對至日本琉球及關島一線;就日本而言,日本海軍防衛分擔區域將延伸至中東波斯灣地區;就東協而言,討好中共並武裝自己,恐怕是目前不得不為的生存之道吧!
