    Abstract: 本文是透過「中文可讀性公式」來檢視中文文章可讀性的因素,並做出以下假設:(1)句子越長越難理解;(2)字的筆劃數越多,字越深奧,也越難懂;(3)複合字的比率越高越難懂。本研究發現:(1)字的筆劃數並不會顯著影響文章的可讀性;(2)字的平均筆畫數會顯著影響可讀性,亦即平均筆劃數越高,文章越難理解。由此可見,漢字結構複雜,顯然是阻礙傳播的一項重要因素;(3)文章完整句子的比率越高,也越容易理解,只不過這種影響力在中文不如其他語文明顯;(4)片語的平均長度越長,理解分數越高。
