    Introduction: In this world, English is used as a lingua franca and so teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) has received considerable attention. The Taiwan Journal of TESOL (TJTESOL) thus aims to publish quality papers on teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). It is an international refereed open-access journal dedicated to broadening epistemic horizons, deepening theoretical underpinnings, and improving practices.
